A toddler dressed as a terrifying zombie nurse won a Halloween competition.

Thiarra Vien Margate, the five-year-old girl cosplaying the Silent Hill nurse, impressed judges and crowds as she shambled in front of them during the event in Davao, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Tricia Leigh Delgado shows Thiarra with her face covered in blood-stained bandages and wearing an old nurse's uniform while holding a pole with an IV drip on November 2.

The youngster can be seen with her legs spread outward, moving her whole body as she looks at the audience.

Thiarra won multiple Halloween costume contests across the city.

Silent Hill is a survival horror video game series created by Konami, set in a fog-shrouded town that manifests its characters' fears, guilt, and trauma into terrifying monsters and environments.

The nurse in the series symbolises repressed desires and guilt, appearing as a grotesque figure that embodies the town's psychological horror.
