A sweet and spontaneous moment between a pit bull and her owner has gone viral after Michelle Doucet captured her three-year-old dog Aquila playing peek-a-boo for the very first time. The video, posted on Instagram by @sippin_n_snacks, has now reached 138,000 views.

“She was playing with my husband, Taylor, when I started recording because their interaction was so cute,” Michelle shared with Newsflare. “Just as I began filming, she suddenly ducked behind a pillow and popped her head up as if she knew she was being playful. We both burst out laughing.”

She’s never done it before or since, so I’m lucky I happened to catch it on camera. Aquila is a purebred pit bull born with dwarfism, weighing about 47 pounds fully grown. We’ve had her since she was a puppy, and she continues to fill our home with joy and surprises like this one.
