US, Los Angeles: Simi Valley Injured Owl Causes Traffic Hazard On 118 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - November 05, 2025 11/04/2025 10:48 pm GMT-0800 Simi Valley – The California Highway Patrol in Moorpark responded to a report of an injured owl resting on the Kuehner Drive on-ramp to the eastbound 118 Freeway. Upon arrival, an officer found the owl near the end of the on-ramp, close to the main portion of the freeway. Despite its injuries, the owl managed to limp off the freeway and down an embankment to a safer location. Ventura County Animal Services was notified to pick up the injured owl.
