At around 3 am on October 25 in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, a heavily intoxicated woman was spotted lying on the edge of a restaurant’s metal awning beside its signboard, half her body hanging dangerously in the air.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving the report. Just as officers were preparing to climb up and rescue her, the woman suddenly lost her balance and fell straight down.

In a split second, police officers and nearby passers-by reached out together, forming a human safety net with their arms and successfully catching the falling woman.

After safely landing, the woman was found to be drunk but uninjured. Police took her back to the station to sober up and later contacted her family to bring her home.
