A tense moment was captured in Khed taluka’s Kalechiwadi village in Maharashtra’s Pune district when a leopard wandered into a home courtyard as a young child played on a swing.
The leopard reportedly entered the premises while attempting to hunt a dog. In the footage, the big cat can be seen moving close to the swing where the child was playing, but the boy quickly ran inside the house just in time.
Family members raised an alarm, prompting the leopard to flee. Forest officials have been alerted as residents express growing concern over increasing leopard sightings in the region.
