Storm blows over tents at festival in Indonesia
This is the dramatic moment a storm blew over tents at a festival in Indonesia.
Footage captured by Afifudin shows heavy rain and strong winds battering a field during a local celebration in Sale District, Rembang Regency.
Vendors wearing raincoats can be seen holding onto their stalls, trying to secure them from the gusts on November 6.
Moments later, the Wahyu Manunggal Ketoprak stage, decorated in gold designs and set for a theatrical performance, collapsed.
Event organisers were seen running towards the stage to inspect the damaged structure.
No one was injured in the incident, and the play was postponed.
The country has seen significantly heavier rainfall than usual for the dry season this month, driven by unique climate patterns.
The Indonesia Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said that the rainy season began around September and is expected to last until April next year.
