Nablus - November 08, 2025 Palestinian reporter Raneen Sawafta was injured after Israeli settler militias attacked journalists and farmers during the olive harvest in the town of Beita, south of Nablus. According to local sources, settlers assaulted several people on Jabal Qamas while they were picking olives, leaving Sawafta with bruises and fractures. She was taken to a hospital for treatment. Witnesses said the settlers carried out the attack under the protection of Israeli forces, who did not intervene to stop it. The incident is part of a growing wave of settler violence targeting Palestinian farmers and media workers during the olive harvest season across the occupied West Bank.
