Phoenix, United States - November 09, 2025 11/09/2025 05:00 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police officers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to the area of 26th Avenue and McDowell Road at approximately 5:00 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Initial reports stated that two people had been shot. According to the Phoenix Police Department, one unidentified gunshot victim had been pronounced deceased at the scene. An additional unidentified gunshot victim was transported to a local trauma center in critical condition. And a third unidentified patient was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. It is unclear at this time if the third patient was shot. Phoenix Police Violent Crimes/Homicide Unit detectives have assumed command of the investigation. Detectives were expected to remain at the scene for several hours as the investigation unfolded.
