China: Global food exhibitors at CIIE seek to further tap China's market
The ongoing 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in the east China megacity of Shanghai has drawn participation from thousands of global food companies seeking partnerships and business opportunities in the Chinese market. Running from Nov 5 to 10, this year's CIIE features the largest-ever food and agricultural products exhibition in its history, hosting over 2,000 enterprises. The exhibition area for food and agricultural products showcases a diverse array of specialty products from around the world, including fruits, beef and dairy products. To better engage with visitors, many exhibitors have set up tasting stations, inviting guests to sample their products. Some of the exhibitors have chosen the CIIE as the launch platform for their products in China. China is a highly attractive market for global business players. Many exhibitors have returned year after year, not missing a single edition of the CIIE, aiming to secure broader distribution channels for their new products. Shotlist: Shanghai, China - Recent: 1.
