This is the hilarious moment a pair of cats knocked over a coffee shop umbrella.

CCTV footage shows a store owner preparing to open her cafe when she heard a loud noise above the counter in Uttaradit, Thailand.

Moments later, one of the felines jumped down from the roof onto the colourful umbrella in front of her on October 20.

The canopy then collapsed, with the cat still clinging to the fabric, prompting the startled owner to gently remove the white cat.

She stepped outside to fix the umbrella when another pet cat fell onto the sunshade, tearing one of the panels of the parasol.

Shocked by the incident, the woman paused briefly before bursting into laughter.

She believes that her pets might have been trying to chase birds on the roof.

She said: 'One of them jumped down safely, so the other may have decided to follow.'

The cats were unharmed.
