CANAKKALE, TÜRKİYE - NOV. 12, 2025: The Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park, has become one of the most popular destinations for those seeking to explore World War I history beneath the waves in Türkiye.

Located off the Gallipoli Peninsula Historical Site, the park features the wrecks of warships sunk during the Gallipoli Campaign, offering visitors a glimpse into over a century of history resting on the seabed.

Since its opening in 2021, around 15,000 divers from Türkiye and abroad have explored the site, which allows dives to 23 different wrecks, including iconic ships from the 1915 battles.

Officials describe the park as the world’s only underwater park themed entirely around World War I, combining history, culture, and marine life for a unique diving experience.
