10. VARIOUS OF WOMAN LOOKING AT TO DEVASTATED BUILDING KHAN YOUNIS, PALESTINE - NOV. 13, 2025: Students in the Gaza Strip celebrated their high school graduation exam results among the ruins after years of conflict and destruction.

The Palestinian Ministry of Education announced the results of the secondary school exams, held for the first time in two years due to Israel’s ongoing attacks that have destroyed schools and displaced families.

This year, the exams were conducted electronically for students born in 2007 because of the war’s impact and the extensive damage to educational facilities.

Despite the difficult conditions and limited resources in Gaza, students expressed mixed feelings of pride and sadness over their achievements.

Palestinian Education Minister Ajemal Berhem said that 31,000 students took part in the exams and emphasized their goal to resume in-person education despite the widespread devastation.
