Sand Canyon Cliff Fall: Solo Vehicle Accident, Driver Injured

A solo traffic collision was reported Wednesday November 12 around 10:09 P.M. on Sand Canyon Road just south of Placerita Canyon. A vehicle ended about 150 feet down a cliff. AMR transported a female before CHP and Search and Rescue arrived.

Per CHP site, the daughter who was the driver called her father and was able to mention she was involved in a traffic collision on Placerita Canyon and the phone call was disconnected.

Santa Clarita Search and Rescue was called and they arrived about 20 minutes after the collision was reported to check on the vehicle and check if any other occupants were inside the vehicle.
