Los Angeles, United States - November 13, 2025 11/12/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0800 MONTEBELLO, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers and firefighters from the Montebello Fire Department responded to a report of a crash on the Eastbound 60 Freeway at Atlantic Avenue. Crews arrived to find an orange Dodge Charger with significant rear-end damage and a Nissan SUV with major damage. A semi-truck was also present, displaying front-end damage. The male driver of the Charger was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. The female driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed. According to a CHP officer on the scene, preliminary information indicates that the Nissan and Dodge may have been involved in a prior crash and were blocking eastbound lanes. Shortly thereafter, the semi-truck is believed to have struck both vehicles, resulting in the woman’s death. The CHP has closed all eastbound traffic at Atlantic Avenue for an undetermined period.
