Palestine - November 17, 2025 Israeli settlers torched Palestinian vehicles and vandalized homes on Monday evening in the village of al-Jab’a, southwest of Bethlehem, according to local reports. The attack triggered a rapid response from Israeli forces, who confirmed they are pursuing the perpetrators. The IDF says the attack was carried out by dozens of Israeli civilians and is linked to the evacuation and demolition of an illegal settler outpost earlier the same day near the settlement of Efrat. “After the evacuation of the illegal structures, IDF, Border Police, and Israel Police forces rushed to the village of Jaba following a report that dozens of Israeli civilians had set fire to and vandalized homes and vehicles,” the military stated. Israeli forces say searches for those involved are ongoing and that the situation in the village remains active.
