US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Standoff Over Knife Assault Leads To Arrests
Bakersfield, United States - November 18, 2025 11/17/2025 09:28 pm GMT-0800 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A standoff stemming from an assault with a knife occurred Monday evening in the 800 block of Oak Street. The incident was reported at 9:28 p.m. when authorities received a call about a woman barricaded in a room, reportedly stabbing her boyfriend. Officers arrived on the scene and attempted to force entry into the room. Both the male and female were taken into custody, though the extent of their injuries or any medical transports is currently unknown. The Bakersfield Police Department and Bakersfield Fire Department responded to the incident.
