US, Los Angeles: El Monte LA County Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped In Riverbed
Los Angeles, United States - November 18, 2025 11/17/2025 09:28 pm GMT-0800 EL MONTE, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department and Urban Search and Rescue teams responded to the San Gabriel Riverbed near Valley Boulevard and the Interstate 605 Freeway in El Monte for a report of a man trapped in the riverbed. Firefighters, along with LACoFD Air Rescue, conducted a successful airlift of the man out of the riverbed to the nearby bike path, where additional firefighters and paramedics were waiting. He was then transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not disclosed.
