A Filipina glamour model was found dead in her ex-boyfriend's apartment three days before he was also discovered lifeless in the same room.

Curvy Gina Lima, 23, reportedly took narcotics before spending the night with former flame Ivan Cezar Ronquillo, 24, at his condo in Manila, the Philippines.

The pair were said to have collapsed in an alcohol and drug-filled stupor on the morning of November 16. But when Ivan woke up hours later, he allegedly discovered Gina dead beside him.

He rushed the unconscious woman to the Quezon City General Hospital in the evening, but doctors declared her dead on arrival 'due to cardiorespiratory distress'. There was no indication she had been attacked, they added.

Police searched Ivan's room and reportedly found no signs of assault. They seized drug paraphernalia, several tablets, and suspected kush.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Edison Ouano, chief of the city's Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, said: 'Initial findings show there was no commotion inside. The room was organised. There were a few small bruises on her legs, just tiny spots.

'Investigators immediately checked her neck and face for any signs of strangulation or suffocation, but initially, they didn't find any such marks.

'It's possible it's homicide if foul play is found, but if there's none, if it's found to be a natural cause of death, the case will be closed.

'When the victim's friends found out, they rushed to the hospital, where they met with the ex-boyfriend. That's where the friends allegedly scratched him.'

Gina's furious friends alleged that Ivan had assaulted her to death, sparking a firestorm online as they claimed he often beat her.

But before investigations could conclude, Ivan reportedly took his own life, the La Loma Police Station said today, November 19.

Before deactivating his Facebook account, Ivan was said to have posted a couple selfie with Gina, captioned: 'I love you so much Gina. I cannot live without you by my side. It hurt so much that you were right next to me when you passed.

'Don't worry, I will follow you soon. I can be with you. We both know that no one can stop our love.'

He also posed CCTV from inside the condo which appeared to show the pair of them in good spirits.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Jose Luis Aguirre, station commander, said the ex-boyfriend was rushed to the Quezon City General Hospital, where he was revived but later died.

Authorities have not disclosed further details, saying both cases were being probed.

Gina's sister Yna Yra said: 'I am trying my best to stay positive, Gin, even though it really hurts my chest. I love you so much, Gin. We will take care of everything you've left behind.'

She also urged the public to 'give my sister and the guy peace' as investigations were ongoing.

Gina was a social media influencer and freelance glamour model, often showing off her shapely figure on her online accounts.

She has previously modelled for softcore porn streaming service Vivamax, and was credited for a bit role in the 2018 Filipino film 'My Fairy Tail Love Story'.
