SOLDIER ON GUARD AT MAUSOLEUM OF ATATURK ANKARA, TÜRKİYE — NOV. 19, 2025 — RESTRICTION: USERS MUST CREDIT "VOLODYMYR ZELENSKYY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT" HANDOUT — EDITORIAL USE ONLY — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, Nov. 19, visited the mausoleum of Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, as part of his official visit to Ankara, Türkiye.

Zelenskyy laid a wreath and observed a moment of silence before signing the official guestbook at the site.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to welcome Zelenskyy, at the presidential complex, where they will discuss bilateral ties and current developments concerning the Russia-Ukraine war.

Following the talks, the leaders are expected to hold a news conference.

Türkiye is continuing its efforts to end the ongoing war, which began in February 2022.

Ankara has urged Kyiv and Moscow to end the fighting through negotiations, with Türkiye ready for any initiative, including mediation, to lay the groundwork for peace.
