US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Fatal Extrication Crash
Los Angeles, United States - November 19, 2025 11/19/2025 12:47 am GMT-0800 VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision early Wednesday morning in Van Nuys involved a Scion FR-S and a Toyota Prius. The crash occurred at the intersection of Kester Avenue and Saticoy Street. At approximately 12:47 a.m., first responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department extricated the driver of the Scion, who was trapped inside the vehicle. That driver was subsequently transported to a hospital in an unknown condition. The driver of the Prius was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
