Light show on wheels: Peugeot unveils futuristic concept with micro-led face, butterfly doors and a video-game steering wheel
Peugeot has unveiled a wild new concept that's like a light show on wheels. Polygon is a tiny electric car with micro-LEDs shimmering across its entire body. Its two butterfly doors, red-glowing cabin, 3D-printed recycled seats and mood-matching tyres give the Polygon a dramatic, futuristic vibe. The standout feature is the Hypersquare, a video-game-style steering controller with steer-by-wire tech that adjusts sensitivity based on speed. Instead of a dashboard screen, the windscreen becomes a huge projected display, while the exterior pulses with animated graphics even when parked. With its airy, minimalist interior and lighting modes that shift between Cruise, Fun and Hyper, the Polygon feels more like a digital lounge than a small EV. Peugeot says this shape-shifting machine hints at the next generation of its compact electric cars, offering a dazzling glimpse into its future design language.
