Lebanon - November 19, 2025 The IDF reported that it carried out airstrikes, led by the Northern Command and conducted by the Israeli Air Force, targeting several weapons depots belonging to Hezbollah’s rocket unit in southern Lebanon. According to the military, the storage sites were located within civilian areas, which Israel described as further evidence of Hezbollah’s practice of embedding military infrastructure among the Lebanese population. The IDF noted that precautionary measures were taken prior to the strike to reduce the risk of civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions, advance warnings, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence assessments. The presence of these weapons depots was described as a violation of existing understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF stated it will continue acting to remove threats and protect the State of Israel.
