Police rescued a child whose leg was trapped in a motorcycle wheel.

Cops and several locals worked together to remove the youngster's leg, which was wedged in the tyre in Davao de Oro, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Anasco Rolan shows men loosening the bolts on the rear tyre and carefully pulling it outward, while the child's father supports him from behind on November 4.

The group managed to yank the young boy unscathed.

Local media reported that the child was pushing the vehicle, with his father already seated on it, in an attempt to jump-start the two-wheeler, which had broken down. However, when the boy hopped onto the motorcycle as it began to move, his leg slipped into the spinning wheel.

The boy reportedly sustained minor injuries from the incident, and police advised the family to bring him to a hospital for a check-up.
