The robotic companion engages children through stories and pre-recorded sounds, helping to alleviate fear and anxiety during medical treatments.
Hospital staff said Tommy fosters emotional connections through play and interaction, supporting children in coping with the stress of hospitalization.
They added that the device is designed to help young patients recognize emotions and adapt more comfortably to the hospital environment, forming part of their overall recovery process.
