Heavy Snowfall Shrouds North York Moors as Dashcam Captures Rapidly Worsening Conditions

Dashcam footage filmed by Andy Bayes on November 19, 2025, shows intense snowfall along a rural road near Goathland in the North York Moors. Snow quickly builds on surrounding pine trees as visibility drops, creating hazardous driving conditions during an amber warning that forecast 15–25 cm of accumulation across the region.
The video captures the early intensification of the storm, which later contributed to widespread travel disruption, stranded motorists, and multiple school closures. The footage highlights just how quickly weather conditions deteriorated across the moors as the winter system strengthened.
