Phoenix, United States - November 20, 2025 11/20/2025 04:19 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Fire Department was dispatched around 4:20 a.m. Thursday morning to the intersection of Indian School Road and Black Canyon Access to reports of two pedestrians struck by a vehicle. Fire crews arrived on the scene on the west side of the intersection and located a woman and a child in a stroller who were struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Indian School Road. According to information gathered at the scene, both were described to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were subsequently transported by Phoenix Fire personnel to a local area hospital. Phoenix police officers were seen speaking with a driver of a red pickup truck at the crosswalk; however, the pickup left shortly after, and it remains unclear if that vehicle was involved in the collision. Due to a power outage, the traffic lights at the intersection were flashing at the time of the collision. The roadway was reopened after both the woman and child were transported to the hospital.
