[Sound_bite] He Yongqian, Spokesperson, China's Ministry of Commerce: "Japan cannot expect to hurt China’s feelings on the one hand while seeking benefits on the other. This is not the right way to engage with China." [Voice_over] The spokesperson said the remarks made by Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi have provoked public outrage in China, and vowed that if Japan does not correct it mistake, necessary countermeasures will be taken.” [Sound_bite] He Yongqian, Spokesperson, China's Ministry of Commerce: "China urges Japan to retract its wrongful words and actions with a responsible attitude toward history and China–Japan relations, earnestly honor its dialogue commitments, and create a sound environment for bilateral economic and trade cooperation."
