Syria - November 21, 2025 The IDF reported that Reserve Brigade 55 (“Spearhead”) has been mobilized again in recent months and is currently operating in the southern Syria region under the command of Division 210. The forces are carrying out proactive defensive missions aimed at maintaining security for Israeli residents, particularly those living in the Golan Heights. As part of their activities, the brigade completed a search and detection operation during which various weapons were uncovered, including rocket components and RPG parts. All discovered items were subsequently destroyed. According to the IDF, the division’s forces remain deployed throughout the area and continue their operational missions.
