The IDF, operating under Shin Bet intelligence guidance, carried out widespread counterterrorism activities across the West Bank over the past week. Forces from the Etzion Brigade conducted a three-day operation in Beit Ummar, during which they carried out roughly 300 searches and 220 interrogations. These efforts led to the arrest of four suspects planning attacks, along with eight individuals involved in weapons trafficking, including one who threw Molotov cocktails at the community of Karmei Tzur. More than 15 vehicles allegedly purchased with terror funds were also seized. In the Yehuda Brigade, troops conducted hundreds of searches, arresting 18 wanted individuals affiliated with Hamas and others accused of incitement. Confiscated weapons included M-16 rifles, handguns, slingshots, gas grenades, magazines, and improvised charges. Benjamin Brigade forces conducted four focused operations, arresting 17 additional suspects, including weapons dealers and those involved in rioting and Molotov-cocktail attacks. A handgun, an M-4 rifle, and additional weapons were seized. In the Menashe sector, Yamam and IDF forces, guided by Shin Bet intelligence, arrested militants involved in planning attacks and developing terror infrastructure. Additional weapons were discovered in Bartaa, along with the detention of suspects linked to terror activity. In the Samaria Brigade, troops and Israel Police uncovered two weapons-manufacturing workshops and seized two hunting rifles and a Carlo-type weapon, arresting nine suspects. In the Ephraim Brigade area, warning conversations were conducted and wanted individuals were detained in Tulkarem and nearby villages. All detainees and seized weapons were transferred to the Israel Police and Shin Bet for further investigation.
