Dramatic CCTV footage from the Majhgawan flyover on the Gorakhpur–Varanasi highway shows how a calm Saturday morning commute turned into chaos within seconds. Around 6:15 a.m., a speeding Bolero coming from the Varanasi side appeared to lose control and slammed into a Tata Magic travelling ahead.

The impact was so forceful that it lifted the Bolero off the ground, causing it to flip in the air before landing upright. The entire sequence — from collision to the SUV regaining balance — unfolded in barely six seconds.

As soon as the vehicle steadied, the driver jumped out and fled the scene, leaving the overturned Bolero behind. Goods carried on the Tata Magic were thrown across the road due to the collision.

Police reached the spot shortly after being alerted and seized both vehicles as part of their investigation. Officers confirmed that despite the dramatic crash, no injuries were reported.
