Drunk woman wheeled back to hotel in vegetable cart by helpful police in Thailand
A drunk tourist had to be wheeled back to her hotel in a vegetable cart by kind police who struggled to carry her, due to an unusually large backside.
Denise Ivonne Jarvis Gongora, 33, from Chiapas, Mexico, went drinking alone following a row with her friend on Koh Phi Phi island in southern Thailand.
But the holidaymaker reportedly went on a drunken rampage, prompting the bar owner to call the cops on her on the morning of November 20.
Police arrived at the scene, where they found a barefoot Denise with her heavily tattooed midriff exposed as she lay sprawled on the pavement.
They had to rent a cart from a resident as her derriere, inflated from an overdone Brazilian butt lift, was too large to heave all the way back to her lodging.
Footage shows the barely conscious tourist being hauled onto the farm equipment as she complained: 'I don't know what's happening.'
She shifted her position several times until her bottom comfortably fit in the cart.
When they reached the Phitharom Phi Phi Resort, they helped Denise, who was wearing a green cropped hoodie that barely covered her equally ample bust, waddle up the steps back to her room.
She was heard admitting 'I'm actually drunk', as officers tried to tuck her into bed.
Police Colonel Surasak Jaidee, superintendent of Koh Phi Phi Police Station, said the rescue was carried out under the 'You Drink, I Drive' initiative to assist heavily intoxicated tourists return to their hotels.
He added: 'On that day, this tourist argued with her friend, so she went out to drink at Freedom Bar from night until morning and became heavily intoxicated.
‘She was rolling around on a road in front of a bungalow, so the owner contacted the police.
'I went to check and found her lying on the grass, speaking incoherently. We took her back to Phitarom Phi Phi Resort.
‘Moreover, we asked the hotel to move her room to the lower floor because we feared she might fall while drunk, which the owner agreed to.
'If a tourist is too big, or too drunk, we will put them in a cart and take them to their hotel.'
