Los Angeles, United States - November 24, 2025 11/23/2025 05:30 pm GMT-0800 POMONA, Calif. – Pomona police officers and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to a report of a gunshot victim in an apartment complex in the 1000 block of East Pasadena Street in Pomona. Details about the victim's condition initially remained unclear; authorities have not indicated whether the individual was pronounced deceased or transported for medical care. Multiple police units were observed on the scene, and officers were visible through a sliding door inside one of the apartment units. At the time of this report on Sunday evening, it was unknown if the police had any suspects in custody or if anyone was still at large. The Pomona PD has not released further information as the investigation is ongoing. UPDATE: A 16-year-old was shot and killed inside an apartment unit. Key News Network contacted the PIO for the Pomona Police Department for additional information regarding this incident. The only update as of Monday morning is that one 13-year-old female juvenile was taken into custody. A press release from the police department is expected this afternoon.
