Exclusive- Blu-ray destruction goes extreme under supersonic HVOF spray

Buy video

What happens when you hit a stack of Blu-ray discs with a supersonic HVOF jet?
This extreme industrial demo shows a high-velocity HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) spray firing tungsten carbide particles at near-supersonic speed directly at multiple Blu-ray discs — and the result is absolutely insane.

As soon as the tungsten carbide stream makes contact, the discs fracture, melt, explode into shards, and vaporize instantly, producing dramatic high-energy visuals and incredibly satisfying industrial ASMR. The glossy plastic layers of the Blu-rays react violently to the intense kinetic impact, creating a chaotic mix of flying fragments and melting edges you almost never get to see in slow motion.

HVOF is normally used to coat aerospace-grade metal components — but here it’s tested “just for fun” on consumer media to show the raw destructive force of the process. Filmed professionally inside a fully controlled industrial spray booth with proper PPE and safety measures in place.

Perfect for:
• Satisfying destruction fans
• Engineering and science enthusiasts
• ASMR/oddly satisfying compilations
• Extreme material test videos
• Viral short-form content
