8. RUSSIAN AND KYRGYZ FLAGS BISHKEK, KYRGYZSTAN - NOV. 26, 2025: Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov officially welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Yntymak Ordo presidential palace on Wednesday, Nov. 26, marking the start of Putin’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan.

Putin embarked on a three-day state visit to Kyrgyzstan, starting on Tuesday.

Putin's visit coincides with a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Bishkek on Nov. 27.

According to the organization, the upcoming session is expected to adopt a declaration reflecting the consolidated positions of member states on current security issues, as well as consider the candidacy of the CSTO's new secretary general for the coming three years.
