Israel - November 25, 2025 Israeli police have released footage from the ongoing “New Order” operation in the Negev, showing an incident in which a suspicious vehicle endangered officers, prompting them to respond with gunfire. The large-scale operation, initiated by the Minister of National Security and the Police Commissioner, continues with the participation of hundreds of officers. According to police, 17 individuals wanted for questioning in connection with recent shooting incidents were arrested overnight. In a separate event, a motorcyclist who attempted to flee a checkpoint set up by South District National Guard officers was detained. Authorities also reported locating a stockpile of tires intended for blocking Highway 31 and issuing approximately 140 traffic enforcement citations throughout the operation.
