World's first self-charging motorcycle uses dragonfly-style panels to generate its own power. This self-charging solar motorcycle powers itself with wings that resemble a dragonfly. Called SOLARIS, it generates all its own energy with no fuel or plug-in charging. MASK Architects designed it to break free from a mobility system “monetised” by fuel and charging networks. Its signature feature is a set of retractable circular solar wings that turn the bike into its own charging station. When deployed, these panels boost solar collection by up to 150% and refill a built-in lithium battery. Even on the move, SOLARIS keeps capturing daylight through integrated photovoltaic cells. Designed for regions with scarce energy access, it promises lower costs, off-grid freedom, and zero need to ever plug in.
