According to initial information, a man called 911, indicating that his mother had been shot, but did not provide further details. Officers arrived on the scene and took a male into custody. Officer Chavez, a spokesperson for the LAPD, told Key News Network that a 63-year-old man was booked for attempted murder. Chavez was unable to provide information regarding the female victim’s age, condition, or relationship to the suspect. One person was transported to the hospital by LAFD in unknown condition.
