A cute video has emerged of a father playing the piano to his baby to get him to sleep.

The footage, filmed in Biggin Hill, UK, shows a man playing the piano while holding his new born son, called Nathaniel, on his lap.

The father wrote online: "I was trying to get Nathaniel off to sleep after some crazy sleepless nights"

"I found that holding him over my arm whilst playing piano was a great way of getting him off to sleep and to give my wife a break from the relentless feeding and not sleeping."

Although the video was shot in 2013, it was recently posted online.

This is a video my wife took of me playing to my new born son Nathaniel to try and get him off to sleep after some crazy sleepless nights. I found that holding him over my arm whilst playing piano was a great way To try and get him off to sleep and to give my wife a break from the relentless feeding and not sleeping, so I used to change the lyrics of songs to sing to him adlibbing as I went, some good some bad but all was a great way to bond with my son, and this was one of them that my wife captured on video, hope you like it as much as we did
