KYIV, UKRAINE - NOVEMBER 29, 2025: Russia launched a large-scale combined attack on Kyiv and several other regions of Ukraine on Saturday, Nov. 29, Ukrainian officials reported.

At least three people were killed and 29 others were injured as debris from intercepted aerial targets fell across multiple districts of the capital, causing damage and casualties.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a statement on Telegram that Russian forces fired about 36 missiles and deployed roughly 600 drones in the overnight assault. He confirmed that three people were killed and dozens wounded in the Kyiv region.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko separately reported that several neighborhoods across the city were struck, leaving 29 people injured

According to a statement from Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy, Russian forces also targeted energy infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava.

The ministry reported widespread power outages, noting that “more than 500,000 people in Kyiv, over 100,000 in the Kyiv region, and approximately 8,000 in the Kharkiv region were left without electricity this morning.”
