DUBLIN, IRELAND - NOVEMBER 29, 2025: Pro-Palestinian demonstrators took to the streets of Dublin on Saturday, Nov. 29, to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, urging the Irish government to impose sanctions on Israel over its ongoing assault on Gaza.
The protest began on O’Connell Street, with demonstrators marching toward the Dáil while chanting “Sanctions now” and waving Palestinian flags. Protesters carried banners reading “Still Funding Genocide,” “Freedom & Justice for Palestine,” and displayed images of malnourished Palestinian children with captions stating “Starved by Israel.”
Organizers said symbolic statements are no longer enough and demanded concrete measures, including the suspension of trade and military cooperation with Israel.
Speakers highlighted the growing civilian death toll in Gaza and called Ireland’s stance “a moral test.”
The protest drew a broad mix of students, activists and community groups, maintaining strong public pressure for tougher action.
