A heart-stopping incident occurred on Sunday at Paharpur station on the Koderma-Gaya rail section in Jharkhand. A person was crossing the track under a stationary goods train when suddenly the train started moving.

The young man said, "I was standing next to a freight train at Paharpur railway station. I had to cross to the other side. I thought I would pass under the freight train. As I tried to get out from under the train, it started moving. I was terrified."I prayed to God and lay down on the tracks. Thank God I survived."

As soon as the young man got up from the tracks after 13 wagons of the freight train had passed, people rushed to his side. Some even scolded him. But before anyone could find out his name, he disappeared from sight.

Deepak Kumar, Koderma post in-charge, RPF, said, "We received information about such an incident. Railway Protection Force personnel arrived at the scene, but by then the youth had left. Locals say the youth was unharmed."
