Choir boys had an adorably wholesome reaction as they cheered when a bride and groom shared their first kiss.

The youngsters, who were serving at a Catholic wedding ceremony, appeared thrilled and giggly as the celebration reached its peak in Bulacan, the Philippines.

Footage shows the boys in robes clapping, laughing, and jumping with joy while the couple shared a sweet kiss on November 28.

They stood in the corner of the church about 20ft (6m) from the newlyweds, as the ringing of the bell signalled the end of the ceremony.

Altar server Kenneth Guban said: 'The children were overjoyed when they saw the newlyweds share a kiss. It was a special moment for them.'

The Philippines is mostly Catholic because of centuries of Spanish influence. Many Filipinos prefer church weddings as they are seen as traditional and meaningful.

Families also value these ceremonies because they believe a church is a sacred place to begin married life.
