White House Says President Trump's MRI Shows ‘Excellent' Health. The White House says President Donald Trump is in "excellent overall health" after completing an extensive executive physical. His physician, Captain Sean Barbabella, released a memo confirming that advanced imaging run on the 79-year-old's heart and abdomen showed completely normal results. He explained that the MRI was part of a more detailed check-up done in October, noting that men in Trump's age bracket benefit from deeper cardiovascular and abdominal screening. Democrats, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, had pressed for the release of the findings, citing concerns about Trump's fitness for a second term. Barbabella reported no signs of restricted blood flow, structural issues, or abnormalities in any major organs, calling the president's cardiovascular condition "excellent." He said the abdominal scan also showed everything operating within normal limits. Trump, speaking aboard Air Force One on Sunday, said he was fine with making the MRI public. The White House says the imaging was simply preventative — standard for an executive physical — and meant to catch potential issues early. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read the doctor's memo at Monday's briefing, calling the disclosure a demonstration of transparency.
