Los Angeles, United States - December 02, 2025 12/01/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0800 VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers in Rancho Cucamonga initiated a pursuit on the 10 West Freeway near Mountain Avenue in the Inland Empire. The vehicle was believed to be involved in street racing. At one point, officers deployed spike strips, causing the driver's side tire to deflate. Despite the tire damage, the suspect continued driving on three tires into the Vermont-Slauson area, reaching speeds over 120 mph. The pursuit eventually led to the intersection of 70th Street and Estrella Avenue, where two male suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The car, now unmanned, rolled down the street and crashed into a parked car. Both male suspects were apprehended shortly afterward. Authorities observed them communicating with a family, suggesting a possible relationship, though the exact nature of that relationship remains unknown.
