US, Phoenix: Phoenix 7th Avenue Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Collision
Phoenix, United States - December 02, 2025 12/02/2025 12:20 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police officers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to the area of 7th Avenue and Polk Street at approximately 12:20 a.m. for reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. According to the Phoenix Police Department, an unidentified pedestrian was transported in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. A semi truck was seen stopped in the southbound lanes of 7th Avenue, south of the pedestrian's location. The Phoenix PD has yet to confirm if the semi is the vehicle that struck the pedestrian. The collision resulted in a multi-hour-long closure of 7th Avenue, spanning Fillmore Street to Van Buren Street. Phoenix Police Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation.
