2. MEETING BETWEEN MINISTERS AND THEIR DELEGATIONS (TWO SHOTS) BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - DEC. 3, 2025: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met his British counterpart Yvette Cooper on Wednesday, Dec. 3, on the sidelines of the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels.

During the meeting, the situation in Gaza was discussed, with Foreign Minister Fidan stressing the need to pressure Israel to ensure a sustainable ceasefire and allow the entry of much-needed humanitarian aid into the enclave.

The talks also reviewed the latest developments in negotiations aimed at ending the war between Ukraine and Russia, during which Fidan underlined that any solution must be just and lasting.

The situation in Syria and Lebanon was also on the agenda of the meeting.

Foreign ministers of NATO member states met at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels, chaired by Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The agenda is expected to include boosting defense spending and capabilities, along with discussions on the US-backed peace plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

The next NATO summit will take place in Türkiye’s capital Ankara on July 7-8, 2026.
