Hilo, United States - November 07, 2025 U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster IIIs were seen approaching a drop zone during Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) 25-01 on November 7, 2025, at Pohakuloa Training Area. Exercise JPMRC 26-01 is described as a large-scale joint and multinational operation designed to train units and leaders in the region’s challenging jungle, arctic, and archipelago environments, replicating real-world conditions. JPMRC is identified as a key way the Army supports Integrated Deterrence and strengthens regional security in the Indo-Pacific, training thousands of combat-ready forces across the theater. On November 6, 2025, U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster IIIs conducted personnel airdrops with U.S. Army Soldiers of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, at the same training area. The brigade launched from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, demonstrating its ability to deploy rapidly anywhere in the Pacific. Exercise JPMRC 26-01 again emphasizes joint and multinational readiness, preparing units for operations in complex terrain while reinforcing the Army’s role in Integrated Deterrence and Indo-Pacific stability.
