Cat stuck on barbed wire fence rescued by kind passerby
This is the heartwarming moment a cat stuck on a barbed-wire fence was rescued by a kind passerby.
Apidet Pongthaisong and his colleagues were inspecting the electrical system of the telephone towers in Kalasin, Thailand, when they spotted the hapless orange feline struggling to free itself from the spiked metallic barrier.
Footage shows Apidet, in an orange reflective vest, slowly approaching the visibly terrified kitty dangling in the air on November 20.
He can be seen carefully removing the animal's front limb from the twisted line while holding the cat on its back to prevent it from moving around.
Moments later, he managed to free the feline and gently put it down on the ground.
The cat then walked a few steps away from him before turning its gaze back, visibly confused by what had happened.
Apidet Pongthaisong said: 'That day, I was working on checking the electrical system of a telephone and home internet tower. When I reached the spot I needed to inspect, I was about to walk into the forest and saw a cat struggling on barbed wire. I helped it, and then went on with my work nearby. After finishing, I came back to check, but the cat was already gone.'
