A house was swept away by floodwaters caused by Tropical Cyclone Koto in the Philippines.

Dramatic footage shows the wooden structure being carried by the murky waters in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, on November 25.

State weather bureau PAGASA raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 on Tuesday morning for 29 areas affected by the storm.

Koto formed near southern Philippines on November 23, locally named Verbena. The storm made seven landfalls across the country before moving into the South China Sea on a track toward Vietnam.

The storm, together with the shear line, brought heavy rain that caused floods and landslides, leaving one dead. Its effects worsened the damage already left by recent Typhoon Kalmaegi and Fung-wong.
