A man decided to use a plastic soda bottle as an improvised tool to open a beer. He first tapped rhythmically against the beer cap twice with the soda bottle, then attempted to pry the cap open. The first try failed, so he repeated the tapping motion and applied more force. Unexpectedly, the beer bottle remained sealed, but the cap of the soda bottle suddenly flew off. Carbonated liquid sprayed everywhere, leaving the man surprised and slightly drenched in his own creative—yet backfired—opening attempt.
